Kathleen (Kathie) Lawson is a Registered Nurse and the Breastfeeding Educator/Newborn Coordinator for the Practice. She offers breastfeeding advice and consults, and she also leads a New Moms Group monthly. Kathie received her nursing degree from Nassau Community College, attended Georgetown University for her lactation training, and is a board member of the Post Partum Support Virginia organization. Kathie has professional experience with children and adolescents struggling with psychiatric illness. She has been married since 1971 and has 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren.
