Kathleen (Kathie) Lawson is a Registered Nurse and the Breastfeeding Educator/Newborn Coordinator for the Practice. She offers breastfeeding advice and consults, and she also leads a New Moms Group monthly. Kathie received her nursing degree from Nassau Community College, attended Georgetown University for her lactation training, and is an active member of the Post Partum Support International organization. Kathie has professional experience with children and adolescents struggling with psychiatric illness. She has been married since 1971 and has 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren.
