Dr. Kia Harkless was born and raised in Alexandria, VA. She graduated cum laude from the College of William and Mary with a B.S. in biology and a minor in psychology. After having completed medical school at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, she began her pediatric residency training at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children in Falls Church, VA. Upon graduation she was named "Resident of the Year." Dr. Harkless is on the active medical staff at Inova Fairfax and Fair Oaks hospitals. She enjoys playing the violin and spending time with her husband and 4 children.
