STACEY AKERS, RN, MSN, CPNP-PC
Stacey Akers is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in a small rural town in south central Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Science with a major in Health Administration and minor in Business from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University. She worked as a primary-care pediatric RN at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for several years before attending the University of Virginia where she received a Master of Science in Nursing and her pediatric nurse practitioner training.
Ms. Akers lives with her husband and Irish Doodle in Oak Hill, Virginia. She is a UVA Men's Basketball season-ticket holder who also enjoys attending Washington Nationals games, laughing, reading, singing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Akers has been in practice since 2015 and sees patients primarily at our Fair Oaks office.
