Sara Barriteau, CFNP

Sara Barriteau is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She joins our team with over 18 years of experience in nursing, bringing a wealth of clinical knowledge and compassionate care to the practice. Her background includes extensive work in pediatrics, with 12 years of experience at INOVA Children's Hospital followed by several years in primary care, where she developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration. While pursuing her MSN degree from George Washington University, Sara completed her pediatric clinical hours at Virginia Pediatric and Adolescent Center.  She is committed to providing high-quality care, while empowering individuals and families to take charge of their health and well-being.

 

In her free time, Sara enjoys hiking, reading, playing board games, and spending time with her husband and two sons. On weekends, you’ll most likely find her on the sidelines of a soccer field, proudly cheering them on!
